Put seven woman in a mini-van and what do you get?  15 detailed labor and delivery stories!  What else do you get?  A detailed calendar of events for MOPS!  

The leadership team took an overnight trip to Savannah in early August.  More than set an agenda for the year, we were able to laugh and enjoy time together.  After our planning session, we got our grub on at Uncle Bubba's.  The crab cakes and cheese crab dip were big favorites.  We explored Tybee Beach and even saw a wedding in progress.  We then returned to our hotel for some very spiritual team building.  We stuffed marshmellows in our mouths and tried to repeat the phrase "Chubby Bunny".  We all were edified and uplifted ;)!  We shared about meeting our husbands, our spiritual backgrounds, and our interests.  And then we passed out.  The next morning we explored River Street and made sure we sampled some pralines for strictly research purposes.

A sisterhood of women-- and mothers.  That's why I am a part of this group.  We each have a talent to share.  Some are reserved, some outgoing.  Some silly and some serious.  Some craft, some coupon, some sew, some have traveled the world.  We all want to pursue excellence as wives and mothers.  Not perfection.  That's why we look to Jesus.  Our perfect example, the author and perfector of our faith.

Top Ten Reasons Why You Should Attend WR MOPS

10.  We changed the dues to $2 a session.  That's less than a Happy Meal!
9.    Childcare.  Childcare. CHILDCARE.
8.    You'll probably put on make-up if you don't usually.  Make-up makes you feel pretty.   Pretty is good.
7.    Breakfast Casserole.  And you can sneak some doughnuts because your sweet angel won't ask for one.
6.    Remember social graces?  You'll get to exercise them.
5.   We're putting on a skit for you.  Some of us like to make fools of ourselves.  The others are good 
       sports.

Our meet and greet night is Tuesday, 8/24 from 7-9 p.m.   Bring your sweet tooth for chocolate fondue.  Our first meeting in Wednesday, 9/1 from 9:30-11:30.  Can't wait to see you!
